Hi Robert. 1 -3 lb cats can be fun. Use light line - light leaders - circle
hooks . If you're using mono I would suggest using a swivel (to prevent
line
twist) and about a foot to eighteen inches of mono or flourocarbon leader.
As far as the baits go, catfish are game for about anything. Hot dogs
chunks, prepared baits, worms, etc. I like to use a cast net to get what
they are naturally feeding on... it makes them less wary and more likely
to
take the bait without apprehension. There are many web sites that will
