First of all, there is a lot of good info at this site. I browsed the
message board for hours before booking my ice fi****ng trip to Lake of
the Woods. I ended up booking at Zippel Bay Resort. I'll let you know
how it goes.
But...be warned! If you post anything that does not help their
sponsors, it will be deleted, even if it is an innocent comment. I
posted something about a LED head lamp, and it got deleted. Apparently
one of their sponsors sells them and my post was about a competitors
product. I didn't realize it at the time. Also, there are a lot of
folks posting that seem to have a stake in the website. They are
constantly pu****ng products, resorts, etc. Check an unbiased source
before spending your money.
BTW, Zippel Bay Resort is a sponsor but I check with a couple of
co-workers who said decent things about the place. Be careful...
