Ken, you're absolutely correct in that that "MI5 Victim" has been
posting to a lot of unregulated newsgroups. I used to read another
"alt" group involved with Recreational Vehicles, and he was there in
spades, along with a whole raft of similar morons. I finally gave up
on that group when I did a statistical survey and found that over 80
percent of the posts had nothing to do with the reason for the group
being out there.

Someone has suggested using a news reader to look at unregulated
newsgroups. Apparently, these readers allow the viewer to set up
filters.

We've been lucky on the hovercraft group not to have had too many
spammers and flamers. I guess it's a sufficiently weirdo subject that
nobody has bothered to attack.

I'm going to look into the use of a news reader to give me a filtering
capability and will re****t back.
