I had the same problem keeping spanners from posting on our message
board for the Hovercraft Club of Canada. I don't have a moderator
just myself as the administrator. Unfortunately the program I am using
those not seem to have any way for stopping fake address from
registering so I was forced to close auto activation and start
monitoring all the registry which is a real time consuming. Result is
when I receive a legal name and e-mail I will activate that persons
account. Has not worked very well and practically shut down legal
posting, but be that we are only interested in people posting
Hovercraft related discussions I don't particularly mind. While the
problem is going on on google you may want to take a look at our
board, you can do that by going to hovercraftcanada.ca and scroll down
to message board on the left-hand side. If you wish to stay until
things clear up just register with legal name and e-mail address and I
will activate the account.
