I lurk in this group, but I thought I'd pop up and recommend XNews for
Windows. I've been using it for years.
I set a global score entry of -9999 for *MI5 Perse* and !poof! I haven't
seen one of his posts for weeks.
Sup****t for XNews is via the newsgroup news.software.readers (tho' you'd
probably better RTFM before you ask).
XNews can be downloaded from xnews.newsguy.com. Get the zip file, expand
it to c:\xnews, then get the TEST version (that's how he releases the
latest) and copy that xnews.exe into c:\xnews.
This assumes, of course, that your ISP offers news. If not, check out
www.aioe.org or www.motzarella.org. They're free, and so are others.
