Well, this shows that at least a couple of you guys have seen it
anyway. It figures Tony would know about it, but I'm a bit surprised
at you, Pat.
There was a series which also starred Patrick McGoohan in the prior
season, but I can't remember the name. "Secret Agent Man" was the
theme song, as I recall. Anyway, McGoohan's character quit the job at
the end of the prior series, and then The Prisoner played the next
season, where McGoohan is a prisoner on a small island, the whole
thing set up to find out why he left. Very much conspiracy oriented,
high tech listening devices, mind games, all spy-vs-spy.
For some reason, the show comes to mind every time I see this MI5
victim post something. Can't figure out why.... :D
I was exposed to it from a fan who had taped all the episodes when it
replayed in the US. How did you see it?
