Thanks, Paul. The article you identified was the one I had found using
Google. What I'm trying to get a link to is a photo that appeared in
either
the Hovercraft supplement to Flight International or the free-standing
magazine they later published.
It showed the prototype Hoversprite in operation, going through London on
the Thames, maybe just upstream from Tower Bridge. I remember thinking
they
had a serious longitudinal trim problem, as it was about 10 degrees nose
down. I guess with a thrust line 2 feet above the roof, that could be
expected!
I've been beating on the Flight website, but can't find a "contact us"
link.
There's just a chance it was in the competing magazine "Hovering Craft and
Hydrofoils", also long gone.
