I think I remember the photo you are thinking of (or one like it). I
can't find that particular photo in my library, but I did find a photo
and a short entry about a follow-on hovercraft camper by the same
company in the Nov-Dec 1970 copy of Hovercraft World ("The World's
First Hovercraft Journal"). It shows a 23 ft long hovercraft-camper,
with a thrust duct on the back this time, rather than on the roof.
I'll post again if I find any more related hovercraft camper photos,
