I've had similar problems with mowers and weed eaters, chain saws and
leaf blowers.
Unfortunately the new petrols, particularly unleaded, destroy
diaphragms in carbs if the tank and carb aren't emptied before
storage.
My bet is that you'll need a carb kit installed.
