Hello everyone,
While I'm new to sailing, it's only because I haven't sat still long
enough during my life to let my large family of sailors gang up on me
and open my eyes. They're all Navy, mostly civilians now, mostly still
sailing.
On a recent trip out to Annapolis, 3 of my cousins took me out on the
Bay and that was it. I'm hooked.
I live in Chicago and am looking for, on the advice of one of those
same cousins who knows my restrictions and needs, to look for an old
Aquarius 23 or something similar. I'm open to other suggestions.
In the meantime I'm looking for cl*****, to learn the rules of the
road, educate myself as much as possible, and hopefully meet people to
learn from. Especially folks who might not shun an offer of beer in
exchange for practical learning experiences. :)
At any rate, "Hey" and I'll be reading plenty.
