At least that's a couple of items more than what I have ever had Dave!!!!

I honestly don't understand the way it works.

I also have my pilots licence. I have not flown for 10 years and my
medical
is currently out of date.
I can not just go and hop back into a plane now and go flying but I don't
have to resit all the test's again either.
All I will need to do is get a new medical and then go to a flying school
for a "check-out" flight. Once they certify that I am still competent at
flying an aircraft I can then fly again as often as I want.

I don't understand why they do not do the same for marine applications.
