Well I guess your club doesn't have much to gain from member****p of YA, 
just as if you were a power boat club. YA is after all primarily set up 
for sailors who race, it's only the training you want and that could 
probably be paid for as individuals through private operators (I wonder 
if it would be overall any cheaper though). As for training by club 
volunteers, well you can't do that without accreditation for a lot of 
other things you need a license for either.
I do get a bit s****y with people who do use the services of YA when 
they race every weekend and don't know what it does or who operates it 
etc (present company excepted). The effort and money does tend to flow 
towards the "elite", but hey how else can the s****t maintain its status 
and give the kids something to aim for?
