Dry Rot

by jg <jg@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sep 5, 2007 at 12:21 PM

I have some under the inner coamings and also in an exposed frame above
the false cockpit floor in the Hartley 16 - it is turning to brown fur.
I got some epoxy resin and thinners.
Can anyone make me feel better about the likelihood of this working?
Boat is 30 years old and was built leaving everything under the floor
bare-unvarnished (which I would never do), but I can't argue with the
way it has lasted in dry areas at least.
