Re: binks vs whitworths

by "Shaun Van Poecke" <shaunvanpoecke@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Dec 21, 2007 at 12:42 AM

They are cheap.
The prices start out pretty reasonable already for most things (at least,
in
boating terms!), then with the 10% discount they get a bit cheaper again.
But the postage is the real savings. Admittedly my order was mostly deck
hardware, but it also included a fair bit of rope, waterproof dry sacks, a
3.5kg anchor, and a couple of lifejackets. For $45 thats one of the best
postage rates I've seen.

Any news on that 18 foot hobie? As another aside, do you know anywhere
that
can do mail order epoxy resin? I've seen plenty of places doing poly,
even
on ebay there's a guy selling poly and glass. Nobody seems to sell the
epoxy though....

Thanks,
Shaun
