I put the hobie 18 on the water today.. What a blast!!!!
The wind was perfect for a test sail 8-10 knots. Even at that low wind
speed
there were a couple of nice rides as the odd 12=15 knot gust bulleted
through. After all that work, its good to have finally put it on the water
and got it sailing.
Rigging took and hour and half though as lots of things werent connected
or
because they needed fixing at the waterfront. But all in all it was a
great
sail.
We dont have any harnesses yet. Cant wait to get back onto a wire. Its
been
about 15 years too long.
