It always makes me feel better - criticising someone else. Besides,
it's so much easier than actually building something myself!!!
Realistically though, something like this would only be of value in
extremely sheltered waters ie. a lake. But if you're going to keep it
on a lake, why not just start with a pontoon? Sail boats are made,
primarily, to sail... houseboats are made to house. And the two
should never meet ;-)
What a depressing day for me though.... I got home from a few weeks
at a mine site to find a nice new dedicated film scanner for me so
that i could scan my 20,000 negatives... every photo I have ever
taken in my whole life right from the very beginning. Family,
girlfriends, my first wife, and all the weddings i shot when I was
making a few dollars on the side. The problem? water damage! out of
20,000, maybe 200 are usable. I am going to get super drunk tonight,
I'd been lugging these things around for years, freighting them at
huge cost to different countries as i moved. Id finally committed to
scanning the lot to preserve them, now i just want to die.
