Buy Canadian or not...

Ok, here goes.  Want to buy a boat.  But suspect like cars, you go south an

im****t to beat the price rip-off.

Or are there Canadian dealers that acknowledge the buck is par?  If so
which 
ones?  I would rather buy Canadian provided I don't get screwed for it.

Specifically interested in dealers from Alberta to North-western Ontario.

Or helpful hints on im****ting boats.  I have done 2 cars ... RIV isn't
that 
bad and saved me $$$$$.

Thoughts?  Experiences?
