I like to fish for trout. A couple of my favorite streams are not
fishable from shore or by wading when the dams discharge, which is most
of the time. Other times the water is too low in some areas for a
anything much larger than a canoe (imo).
I have been thinking of a square back canoe designed for a small motor.
Problem is, I think it is going to take more than a small 5 hp or
trolling motor to challenge this water.
Does any one make one rated for maybe 10-15 hp or is there a better
alternative?
I know I could drift it but usually, i have to fish by myself and I
don't relish the idea of a 10 to 15 mile hike back to the pick up.
Thanks
