Cute. But for the record:

I did get a divorce but that's not my ex steering.  That's the woman I'm 
living with, the love of my life, who I've actually known longer than my
ex.

Neither of us steer much any more, except when we feel like it, since we
got 
the Cape Horn windvane.

Oddly enough, the boat and my whole return to sailing was my ex's idea.  I

was happy flying airplanes and had not thought of boats ever being other 
than a professional interest again.  When she suggested getting a boat I 
thought, if ever there was a time in a marriage to jump straight up and 
shout, "YES", this is probably it.  It was good life sup****t for the 
marriage for a while but came too late.  We lasted 20 years which isn't
bad 
by today's averages.

I rediscovered how much I love sailing and cruising though and gave up the

flying so I could devote the time and money to the boat.  Barbara was 
looking for a place to relocate to and I said, "You know, ****tland made
that 
international travel guide's list of the 12 nicest cities on the planet." 
The rest is history.
