It wouldn't bother me as much as having propane on the boat in the first 
place:)

I'm not sure what the official ABYC position is.  I've got the book here
and 
I'll look it up later if I have time.

Good point BTW about the other problems with the terminal strip.  If the 
ends of the wires get wet, the salt water will wick up through them and
they 
will eventually fail unless there are something like water tight heat
shrink 
rings on them for terminals.  It doesn't sound like the kind of boat that 
would have those though.
