Attaboy! Carbon fiber is the best of the best. Paint actually sticks to
it, 
unlike aluminum with will eventually oxidize under the coating lifting it 
off. There are two tiers of sailors - those who do it right and those who 
pretend to do it. You are in the do-it-right class with respect to your
mast 
at least. Now, try losing that big diesel. If you have more than 1/2 horse

for every foot LWL then you have a motorsailer not a sailboat.
