I still login to a UNIX-based BBS as a VT100 terminal at 2400 baud on
an 80386SX machine I bought in 1990 (paid $2k) runnign MS-DOS 4.0. All
the files stay on the UNIX machine. I used to type some stuff offline,
upload, and paste into newsgroup articles, later post on a text
website.
