In my experience, double-bladed paddles are pro****tioned for kayaks
which tend to be noticeably narrower relative to overall length.
Consequently, I think it might be difficult to find one sufficiently
long that you aren't leaning unnecessarily from side to side. This
would promote fatigue and contribute to inefficient strokes. It might
be an interesting experiment, but I feel canoe paddles were meant for
canoes. And, for my personal taste, about 4"-6" longer than the so-
called ideal length. If you do try it, please re****t.
