I am in the process of buying second hand boat which comes with 40hp
motor connected to steering wheel and gear/throttle control. However I
wish to downsize motor to 6hp for the moment for use on canals. Can
anyone advise me how eay it is to connect steering rods, etc. Do I
need the same make of motor and are there specific motors without
handles? Thanks.
