Frost (UK supplier) Product 16014 Self Etching Primer Light Grey. Aerosol.
QUALITY PRIMER FOR USE OVER BARE METALS SUCH AS STEEL, STAINLESS STEEL AND
ALUMINIUM.
Directions.
Clean the surface thoroughly ensuring the surface is free from grease. oil
etc. Pre Painting Prep (10041) is recommended. Make sure that steel is
free
from rust and that aluminium is free from other coatings (such as
anodizing)
and oxidation (white rust).
If making spot repairs, feather-edge and sand original finish. Do not use
over new enamel.
Apply 2 - 3 thin coats allow 10 minutes between each coat.
Dries to touch in 15 minutes. Allow 2 hours dry time at room temperature
before top coating or sanding. Sanding is not necessary if recoated within
24 hours.
