Hi

You have to have a bluetooth phone or computer and the right software. 
The software is a bit patchy.  Chart Naivgator Pro works fine but costs 
about £100.  Freeware works ok if you just want Lat/Long.  It is the 
same problem whatever gps you plan to link to a computer.
