My 1989  Imray C1 chart magnetic rose agrees with the written
variation figure.

I find the small scale yachtsmen's charts like those sold by Imray,
quite convenient on a small boat.   Sometimes the admiralty chart
packs seem a bit too awkward in a confined space, especially when
frequent reference to several charts is necessary.
